the whole experience felt quite mediocre, of course the owner seemed nice, but when I asked about breakfast, being a lone traveler, I was told it’s only for two! How rude! Also, the shared bath had hours that were utterly ridiculous. I almost considered writing a better review, but honestly, I just couldn’t.

The traditional Japanese style room captivated me immediately with its paper walls and tatami mats. Enjoying the wooden bathtub truly added to that authentic experience. The personal attention from our host made our stay special, especially when we got to share local insights and even had dinner cooked for us on our final night. The unique charm of bathing in a cedar bath was a delightful end to our long days exploring. However, the room lacked adequate darkness at night, which disturbed my partner’s sleep. Also, navigating the shared bathrooms could be inconvenient at times as they were downstairs. Despite these minor concerns, the kindness of the host and the overall atmosphere made it memorable.

Do recommend for a brief pit stop
Charming atmosphere, delightful amenities, the experience of sleeping on tatami mattresses with futon truly embodies traditional living while enjoying a relaxing bath made of wood that enhances tranquility, and the friendly cat roaming the premises adds a heartwarming touch.
Couldn’t find a single fault without adding further information.

I stayed for 3 nights and loved how the friendly staff made me feel at home. They even brought me a delicious breakfast in my room! The ofuro baths in the evenings were pure bliss after a long day out. Just wish the shared bathroom was closer to my room. it wasn't a huge deal, but definitely something to consider.

The owner provided exceptional service and gave useful local insight, making our stay more enjoyable. The ofuro bath offered a peaceful end to our busy days exploring, leaving us relaxed. Making our way to the shared bathrooms was a bit inconvenient since they were located downstairs.
